Hugo Vandenbroek is a world famous Dutch marathon runner, and currently one of the fastest in the Netherlands. After falling in love with Kenya and his Kenyan wife Hilda, Hugo moved to Iten, Kenya to train with and be challenged by the famous Kenyan athletes. He continues to train, and shows no desire to leave his new home in Kenya. I met Hugo on my trip to Kenya and found his story fascinating and over the course of a day and a half, I was fortunate enough to follow him around and create this film.
